About the position
Your role is to develop and implement compelling B2B and B2C communications and engagement activities adapted to the various audiences and stakeholder groups targeted by Foundation Earth. You will be working closely with the Executive Director and other team members on developing key messages and building impactful outreach materials that will mobilise international actors ranging from industry to consumers, policy makers and future funders.
We ask you to:
- Develop a communications and stakeholder engagement strategy, to be continuously updated and adapted based on the organisation’s objectives
- Establish a strong brand and develop impactful corporate materials, taking into account different audiences (B2B, B2C)
- Create engaging content for, and maintain social media channels, including the development of a social media strategy
- Maintain and update the organisation’s website with relevant news, information and knowledge, and review the website’s structure to ensure high quality user experience
- Identify amplification opportunities (e.g. networks, events) and position Foundation Earth’s work in international press (media relations)
- Extract knowledge and insights from projects and partners and turn them into compelling thought leadership pieces
- Develop and implement impactful campaigns targeting industry players, potential future funders and consumers
- Development of key messages on the mission and vision on Foundation Earth and the benefits for consumers
- Position Foundation Earth in the food labelling market with organised events, speaker placements and contribute to build networks and partnerships
As an ideal candidate you can demonstrate:
- 8+ years’ work experience in communications and outreach, preferably in sectors related to social and environmental impact
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills with a solid understanding of stakeholder engagement
- Ability to translate complex information into accessible and attractive content and stories
- Experience implementing successful agile communications strategies across multiple channels and platforms
- Proven track record of developing and delivering widescale campaigns
- Strong relationship building skills, able to forge and manage relationships with people and organisations working on similar issues or projects
- Fluent in English (comparable to a native English speaker), fluency in another European language is a plus (French, Spanish)
- A strong international perspective with experience in cross-cultural communications
- Proactive, organised and innovative work attitude – since we are growing fast the role leaves room for some autonomy to innovate
- Ability to work independently, easily adapt to changing situations and work in a structured manner
